A inicios de este año, la banda , más grande del planeta , daba pasos agigantados, en el curso de la esperada gira latinoamericana. Chile, Argentina, Uruguay , Brasil, Perú , Colombia y México , tuvieron la oportunidad de presenciar un show producido, con irradiante maestría.
Se puede pensar que la banda compuesta por Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood y Charlie Watts había alcanzado cada lugar , y continente del mundo. Pero la verdad es que solo les faltaba uno en especifico: Cuba.
Eagle Rock Entertainment y Jadigital , nos dieron la oportunidad única de vivir esa histórica noche , en donde las barreras eran derivadas con rock, en un 25 de marzo lleno de postales, momentos inolvidables , y un repleto total de 1.2 millones de personas, que disfrutaron de los Rolling Stones , de manera gratuita, y bajo su bella luna en la Habana.
Tal vez el pasaje Cuba, era más barato , que una entrada para los mismos Rolling Stones, pero en esta ocasión , solo tuvimos , apenas algunos pesos , para ir a Cine, y lograr ser parte de este hito del grupo, que fue registrado bajo las manos de dirección de Paul Dugdale.
Cuando tratas de pensar , como sería un concierto-documental, directamente te imaginas el show que tocó la banda, como foco principal, esto con diversos toques cinematográficos. El contexto del país de Cuba , acá realmente es la esencia, y cuerpo del film entero, mostrando su cultura, historia y su gente , con la intención de darte a conocer, los años que estuvieron sin conocer música de otros lados (en especifico el rock), y de como con organización, el grupo pudo llegar a piso cubano, y marcar un antes y un después .
Imagenes muy detalladas y simbólicas , de la ciudad de La Habana, esto contado de manera empírica, por los mismos Rolling Stones (una ronda de cinco preguntas que se hacen al inicio de la película).
El show expuesto en pantalla , constó con un setlist bueno, pero que pudo haber mostrado mucho más canciones que sonaron en la calurosa noche cubana .

Visualmente las imágenes explotaban por todos lados, en donde banderas internacionales, gente emocionada, y la fiesta , eran el hilo conductor , que armaban el cierre de esta gira, de manera espectacular. Uso de cámaras lentas, un seguimiento del carisma de Jagger , y la alegría de sus músicos de acompañamiento, esto mezclado con la picardía de Wood y Richards, que disfrutaban, cada segundo de lo que vivían.
Es un documental excelente , para entender como las barreras políticas pueden existir, pero también como se pueden desgastar con el tiempo, para más adelante abrir puertas. Vale la pena tener este registro guardado en la mente, por la hermosura que es, y por la dedicación con la cual se produjo . De inicio a fin, solo disfrutas , de la soberbia escénica de los Rolling Stones.

When you try to think, as would be, directly concert documentary you imagine the show that the band played as the main focus, this with several film touches. The show exposed on the screen, a good setlist consisted, but that could have shown more songs that sounded in the hot Cuban night.

It is an excellent documentary, to understand how the political barriers may exist, but also how they can wear down over time, to later open doors. Worth having this record stored in the mind, the beauty is, and for the dedication with which it occurred. From start to finish, you only enjoy, scenic pride of the Rolling Stones.
